The First time to see the Green Aurora at home

I have been trying Aurorato get out and catch the elusive "Northern Lights" for yearsand just have not seen it. I learned earlier that if you want to see something that's hard to see, just do a longer exposure. Well I have an electronic viewfinder and it is not very easy to focus at night unless the moon is out. I finally think I have that figured out. So here is a shot from St. Patrick's Day. I drove up the road and took a random shot of the sky and there was green! So I went up the side of the mountain, took some more test shots and settled down in a random plowed spot. I have never seen such colors in local shots. Sony NEX6 20s f 3.5 3200 ISO Contact me for print pricing!
